Vanilla Iced Matcha

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon Cheeky Matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot water (not boiling)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1-2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Whipped cream and additional matcha powder for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare Matcha Paste:

In a bowl, sift 1 teaspoon of matcha powder to remove any lumps. Add 1 tablespoon of hot water to the matcha powder and whisk vigorously until you have a smooth, lump-free matcha paste.

2. Sweeten with Vanilla:

In a separate glass, combine the matcha paste with 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup. Adjust the amount of syrup to your desired level of sweetness.

3. Combine Matcha and Milk:

Pour the frothed milk over the matcha-vanilla mixture. Stir well to combine, ensuring that the matcha paste is fully incorporated into the milk.

4. Add Ice:

Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the matcha-vanilla milk over the ice.

5. Optional Garnish:

If desired, top your matcha vanilla iced latte with whipped cream and a sprinkle of additional matcha powder for a decorative touch.

6. Stir and Enjoy:
