Here at Cheeky we are all about being and feeling our best, we know from our own experiences that small positive steps over time eventually lead to major change and this is why we are so passionate about Matcha.

The inspiration behind Cheeky Matcha stems from our collective frustration with the rollercoaster effects of coffee – the initial boost followed by the 3pm crash lead us to feel tired, burnt out and distracted.

Recognising this shared frustration among friends, we were on a mission to find a product that could give us the boost of coffee without the negative side effects.

Eventually we were introduced to Matcha and it’s safe to say it was love at first sip! 

For us there was an instant connection, and the phrase “feel like a cheeky matcha?" became a lighthearted morning ritual between us. 

After nearly a year of switching to matcha, we both noticed, less anxiety, more focus, productivity, better moods and living a more balanced lifestyle. We were so excited to share our newfound love with others and were confident that matcha would be huge once more people experienced its amazing taste, colour and smell and began feeling the endless positive effects that come with drinking Matcha consistently.

Our journey involved a lot of research and collaboration with organic producers in Japan. We meticulously sampled hundreds of varieties before selecting the finest, smoothest, sweetest, ceremonial grade organic matcha available.

At Cheeky we do our bit for the planet by being a carbon neutral business, using recyclable mailers and boxes and ensuring our matcha is ethically sourced from a sustainable supplier, who have been stone grinding their premium matcha for over 70 years.
